Zhong Xin Dao - I Liq Chuan
Welcome to the Paris website for Zhong Xin Dao - I Liq Chuan, the art of Grandmaster Sam F.S. Chin. The literal translation is Zhong – 中 – Center, Xin – 心 – Heart, and Dao – 道 – Path. The art is also known as “The Martial Art of Awareness”.
I Liq Chuan - the Martial Art of Awareness - combines Zen mindfulness and Daoist Taiji principles. It is based on non-resistance and uses a very unusual learning process known as Zhong Xin Dao. This involves stretching one's attention throughout one's body - and then through the contact with others - and learning to attend to attention itself. The training involves solo movement exercises, 2 Taiji-like forms, and partner exercises.
Beginners with no experience are always welcome.
No special clothes are needed, but dress warmly if the weather is cold, and lightly if warm, we will be doing standing meditation exercises outside.
If you have any trouble finding us, feel free to call me on: 0648136124

We train outside and while there is cover from the rain, but it can still be cold in winter, so make sure to dress warmly if it's cold, and lightly if it's hot.
